A Brief History
For nearly 30 years, ABC Preschool has been preparing children for school success and so much more.
Our program works to meet the needs of each child by offering a loving safe environment and a developmentally appropriate curriculum.
Our mission is to provide a solid foundation of faith, friendship, and education.
Our goal I to help children grow at their own rate, and see themselves as unique and special creations of God. Our program works to meet the unique development of each child by offering a loving, safe environment and a developmentally appropriate curriculum.
Our focus on kindergarten readiness gives our student as educational head start that sets the stage for a lifetime love of learning.
We enjoy a cooperative and supportative relationship with Arbor Baptist Church. We are blessed to have a dynamic governing board consisting of parents, church, and community leaders.
SCHEDULE AND CLASSES
The school calendar runs from after Labor day through the last week of May. Holidays and school closings mirror Amelia County Public Schools. Our classes are half-day and are offered two or three days a week depending on the age of the student and the community need.
Our Classes are structured for age-appropriate development. We offer a New Adventures class for first-time preschoolers, an intermediate class, and a Junior Kindergarten Program. We place students on a first-come, first-serve basis, using age and other criteria as a guide.
Our teaching focuses on six basic developmental domains: Social/emotional, Physical and Motor, Literacy, Math, Sciences, and History, all interwoven with a Biblical emphasis.
Building a solid foundation through faith, friendship, and education.
